Our Mission:
The mission of the Stoughton Fire Department is to minimize the loss of life and property resulting from fires, medical emergencies, environmental, and other disasters. We will accomplish our mission through fire suppression, advanced life support medical services, fire prevention, public education, code enforcement, and other emergent and non-emergent activities with properly trained and fully equipped personnel. We will maintain our preparedness through education, training, and a commitment to personal and professional development. We will actively participate in our community, serve as role models, and strive to effectively utilize all of the necessary resources at our command. We believe that our members are our most valuable resource. Pride and the pursuit of excellence and a commitment to public service is of paramount importance with the safety of our personnel and those we are serving always coming first.
